Top 3 pins for Back To School!

I teach in Florida and we go back to school this month!  Of course that means that I am planning for that big day so all my pins are focused on going Back to MIDDLE school!  :)

I saw this pin and had a "eureka" moment!
I have a hard time with getting enough time to complete closing activities in middle school but having something like this all ready to go for the SmartBoard or Doc Cam would do the trick!

I would tweak my tasks for the 2 minute countdown to look something like this:

I can imagine using a variation of this every day and maybe just saving it into a PowerPoint to project.

I love the idea of having students create bulletin boards.  I am thinking something along the lines of having different teams of students responsible for various boards in some kind of rotation.
It could even foster a bit of friendly competition!

Last, but not least, there is a brand new blog in town:

The Mob is a group of 16 teacher bloggers that have come together to share their love and knowledge of teaching Middle School.

TODAY is the Blog's Big Debut!  So naturally, there is a back to school giveaway!

Visit the Middle School Mob to enter!

Now just in case your name isn't drawn out of the rafflecopter hat, you can still be a winner with the Teachers Pay Teachers Back to School Sale today and tomorrow!
